A family member shared a photo of her dogs and I knew I had to paint it.
I love all of their expressions and how it reminds me of trying to get family to all pose properly for a photo. The couch was originally just covered in a red blanket, but my husband suggested making the couch a deep red... it makes for a great contrast up against the white dogs. I shipped this off to family and received a tearful thank you. It's always fun to do these pet portraits and to see the owner's reactions when they see the finished product.
